We won!

Our team won their first game on Friday night. I know that winning the game is not the point....it's more about teaching these little girls about working as a team and having fun....but winning is more fun...for me. It's the competive nature in me.

We played a team that was actually a "first-year" team. The other team's coach said that coaching these girls was like trying to "herd mice". He's right.

Regardless our girls did great. Chanel turned a double-play. Whoa! At the end of the game, I had no idea what the score was...and as I was walking into the dug-out I hear this shrill scream by the girls...they just got word that they had won. It was sweet.
